Thank you for a spectacular week parents and campers. This was one for the ages....What a phenomenal group of future scientists!
Enjoy all the pic and videos of day 4. Hope to see you all back again next year.
Also, be sure to rinse and wash tie dye shirt at least once by itself before mixing with other clothes in the laundry.

Day 3....Mission Accomplished! What a whirlwind it was. See all the pics and videos below.
A bittersweet day as we also had to say goodbye to Meg, as she prepares to head off to the Marines. Semper Fi Meg!

Day 2 was a marathon day of activities and fun events. Chewy the shark made a guest appearance, demonstrations on air pressure took place, and tons of experiments were undertaken. Please take a look at all the videos and pictures by scrolling down. By viewing them you will get a very good idea of all the super science things that we did.
Remember that tomorrow is wear your Red, White, and blue or Camouflage clothing tomorrow in honor of Meg, who heads off to the Marines this summer in about a month. Tomorrow will be Meg's last day with us, so we want to send her off in style.

What an active and amazing first day it was! Hopefully everyone came home excited about the challenges we tackled today. The weather vanes came out great and the slime (a traditional favorite) was a big success too. One of the biggest hits today was the discussion about static electricity and the "FunFlySticks" used to make tinsel float in mid-air.
Much of what we did today can be seen in the pictures and videos below.
Tomorrow, we will be doing the very popular egg drop competition again (the campers really love this one). Please feel free to bring in any "special" containers or cushioning or stuffing that you may want to use to design and build your project. We will have lots of items to use like tape, string, plastic bags, paper towels and toilet paper, etc. But if there are any special items that you want to use, please bring them in with you. Egg containers will be launch from the first, second and third floors of the building, so this will be quite a challenge.
Get lots of rest tonight....everyone will need a lot of energy tomorrow.
