Thank you parents for allowing your kids to participate in this camp. We had a ball all week. Day 4 was no exception. The elephant toothpaste was a big hit, as were the balloon rockets, seashell necklaces, homemade kites, lemon faces, 94fifty electronic tracking basketballs, and of course the ice cream party at the end of the day. Hope to see you all back again next year.

Day 3 was as busy as ever. Lots of videos and pictures from the day are seen here on our website. Tomorrow is our final day and it is going to be action packed with fun and adventure. Putt-Putt boats, weather vanes, homemade kites, stomp rockets, elephant toothpaste, balloon rockets and sea shell necklaces head up the list of things to tackle. Get lots of rest tonight and be ready to go to work!
"Chewy" the shark was a big hit today with the campers. He is actually a helium filmed shark-like balloon control by infrared signals and a small motor for locomotion. Today was action packed from beginning to end. We did so much from suction cup battles, to color variety experiments, to egg drop competitions, to three phases of making tie-dye shirts. The campers are getting along great (knock on wood) and really finding ways to explore, work together, challenge themselves, build confidence and most of all have fun. We hardly notice we are actually learning things and still in a school setting.
We go right back to work tomorrow and play some catch up with weather vane making, putt-putt boats, homemade kite building, and a bunch of 1 liter bottle experiments! We are just getting started and plan to do great things in the second half of our camp this week.

Day 1 of camp today was spectacular! What a great group of curious minds and well behaved kids. We accomplished sooooo much. All of the pictures below take you through the activities today....from demonstrations using magic rocks and rubbing alcohol, to experiments with static electricity and inertia. Best of all we made tons of slime, which is always a camper favorite. Get a good sleep tonight everybody...as we begin our tie dye shirts tomorrow, and tackle the great egg drop challenge. Remember to bring in any special containers and materials that you might want to use on your egg drop.
