Day four was awesome. We had a ball today and got so much in from puzzle races, to tie dye rinse and dry, to the wind bag experiment, to paddle boat construction, to stomp rockets. The campers were exuberant, energetic and best of all they all got along really, really well! (I can say that now without jinxing myself)
Please enjoy over 230 pictures from all the action today.
This was an amazing group of kids and makes me so hopeful for our future. They work hard, they get along, they are inquisitive, good natured, and team oriented. Thank you for allowing them to be a part of this event and never let them lose the enthusiasm they have to just jump in with two feet and try out their ideas!

Day Three was amazing!
To start off the day the car races went exceedingly well out front. Campers were great sports and competed with much pride and optimism. Top three teams were awarded prizes as well as individual team winners.
Tie dye short projects went off without a hitch and we expect the team picture at the end of the day to be a real beauty!
The campers really took on the challenge of building extreme penny launchers with great enthusiasm and hope. The wonderful part about it was that they all followed the design process very well. They envisioned models, manufactured them at their desks, tested them in the hallways and went back and made corrections and improvements wherever needed. The competition out back was fabulous and is something to be remembered.
We have sooooooo much to do tomorrow as we wrap up the camp with our last day. On the agenda is a host of activities including paddle boats, solar wind bags, bed of nails, Bernolli's Principle, and much more.
Get a great night sleep. Look forward to all the action tomorrow.

Panther Science Camp Day One:
It was a great day one....this group has a lot of energy and the groupings seem to be right one with a ton of solid team work and sharing of ideas.
Today was action packed and we were able to tackle just about everything that was listed on the agenda for day one.
The picture chronicle many of the things that we did today....all and all there is about 150 of them. Please feel free to scroll through them with your child and ask about what we were working on.
To start the day we will give each group about 1/2 hour to finish up their ping pong ball roller coaster projects and then we will proceed with the live tests from there.
Tomorrow is a big day....we will design, cut out, sand, and paint our race cars. Once complete we will take on the team challenge and race them down the hill by the ticket booth outside. After that we will design and construct catapult penny-launchers, and jump into tie-dye shirts phases 1-2-3.
Get a good sleep tonight. Everyone will need all the energy they can muster up tomorrow.
