Campers and Parents,
It is hard to believe another camp has come and gone.
What a week it was.
Mega thank you to coach Santos, Dorothy and Carson for really going the extra mile and helping everyone out along the way. The amount of designing and constructing, cutting, manipulating, trouble shooting and re-designing was incredible and I am so thankful for them and so proud of all the campers.
Please enjoy a walk through over 200 pictures from our last day together today! They are wonderful pics that will be on the site for years to come.
Hope to see you all next year. Please don't ever hesitate to call or drop me an email if you have any questions at all about the high school, camps, activities, etc.
Have a great rest of the summer.....5 more weeks 'till school!

Day three:
It is hard to believe we only have one more day of camp left....lets make the most of it. We can't wait....weather is supposed to be great and we have so many things to do.
Today, the muggies went away outside which made for an enjoyable car race competition out from down the hill by the ticket booth. The pictures on our website will show the great variety of cars and just how far many of them traversed down the hill. It was a fantastic way to start the day and we appreciate the amount of work and effort that went into the design and production of the cars.
On the way back from the car races we made our second attempt at launching the solar wind bag. With much more success today, the bag heated up and floated off with some trepidation. Would it rise fast enough to clear the trees on the far end of the tennis courts? We had high expectations but to our dismay it caught some of the top branches of an old tall oak which opened a gash large enough to doom the flight.
Tie dye execution of phases 1, 2 and 3 ensued. Everyone did an excellent job of following directions and getting the colors on with great creativity and pizzazz. Can't wait to open them up first thing tomorrow and see how spectacular they come out. We will rinse them, dry them and then take a camp wide picture in them at the end of the day.
The catapult launchers closed out the day. Again.....we always find it amazing how creative and ingenious our science campers are when it comes to designing devises like these. The competition we had was truly memorable and the pictures will show you just how far they were able to shoot the pennies.
Another huge day tomorrow will include tackling as many items on the agenda that we can get to....this includes stomp rockets, color mixing lab, red cabbage lab, log year projects, paddle boats, and much more.
Get a great sleep tonight for maximum energy and drive tomorrow.
Please look through all the pictures that are posted on our site and talk about the camp together.
See you in the morning!

Day Two:
Thank you campers for all the effort and energy that you brought today. We got a ton done today including roller coaster challenges, work search races, rocket launches out front, the solar wind bag demo, the hexane slide demo, and the design and creation of our race cars. To all of you....a job well done! Below, so over 150 pics that encompass the day's activities.
If you brought your car home to dry and to enhance, please don't forget to bring it in tomorrow. We will race them down the front hill by team and then do a final round after that. Carson and Dorothy will also be competing their cars against yours.
Our agenda was packed today and we did not have time to get to the tie-dye shirts. As soon as the race car project in completed, we will jump right into the tie-dye shirts. You do NOT have to bring in anything for tie-dye.....we already have all the shirts and everything else you need to complete the project.
Get a good sleep tonight....we pick up with all the action right away tomorrow.

Campers and Parents,
We had a very active day today. Just about every item on the agenda was completed. If you scroll through the pictures on our website from today you can see much of what we did up there.
This is a great group of kids and they are working really well together....teams range in size and age but so far the motivation level and teamwork has been outstanding.
It was a hot and muggy day today but we battled through it.
Get a great sleep tonight as we will be hitting the ground running tomorrow. We will start off by wrapping up our roller coaster projects and them timing them. Then the highlights for the day include designing and building our race cars, beginning the tie-dye shirts, and making popsicle stick catapults.
Thank you Dorothy, Carson and Mr. Santos for being such great counselors today!
Enjoy the pics and see you nice and early in the morning.
